Timothy was born July 9, 1953 in Syracuse, New York, the son of Donald H. and June M. (Mumford) Cook. He was a graduate of Wayne Central High School in Ontario, New York and Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, New York. He was a self-employed electronic repairman operating Sound Solutions in Lafayette. Tim was a professional bass guitarist and vocalist performing with numerous area bands including B B Bop, The Steve Rice Band and Black-N-Blue. He was a very active volunteer with Camp Good Days performing for numerous benefits. He volunteered his expertise in setting up electronics and "The Sound" systems for the Lafayette Memorial Day Parade. Surviving are his wife of four years, Mary Balitz Dube-Cook; two daughters; Elizabeth Rummel of Delphi Falls, New York and Kasey Dube of Syracuse, New York; his parents; Donald & June Cook of Camillus, New York; two sisters; Kathy Chappini of Brunswick, Maine and Christine Archung of Syracuse, New York; one brother; David S. Cook of Mattydale, New York; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
