Born in Niagara Falls to Joan Martin Bauer and the late Joseph Curnow, Christine was a longtime resident of Webster, NY. She pursued degrees from MCC and RIT while teaching preschool and staying active with her young family. She earned a Master's Degree in Computer Science from RIT while working as a software engineer and project manager at Xerox. She retired to Florida in 2016 to be closer to her grandsons. Christine enjoyed volunteering with FIRST Robotics, spending time with family, and dancing with her husband. She is survived by her mother Joan Bauer; her husband of 45 years, John J. Cass; children, Maggie Cass (David Collins) and Brian Cass; grandchildren, Max Collins and Jude Collins; siblings, Linda (John) Blind, Joe Curnow, Karen Curnow, Michael (Jennifer) Price, Joanie Price, Mark (Kim) Price; stepbrothers, Bob (Lana) Price and David (Lisa) Price; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Monroe Community College Foundation, 1057 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, New York 14623.
