He is predeceased by his father George and brother Jim. He is survived by his mother, Lucille Reynolds, St Ann’s Home in Rochester and his seven siblings: Marilyn, Naples FL; Paul (Betty), Syracuse, NY; Carol (Bill) Roberts, Rochester, NY; Bill (Tracey ), Ontario, NY; Tim (Deanna) and Sue (Chris) Steinruck, both in Williamson, NY; and John, Minneapolis, MN; as well as many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, who remember him fondly as a fun-loving uncle when they were young. He will also be missed by great-aunt/godmother Muriel Cole, great-aunt Ethelyn Hamlin, and assorted Reynolds and Delahanty cousins. Bob attended Wayne Central School where he was an all-star soccer player and part of the last Wayne team to win a sectional championship in 1974. He also participated on the ski and golf teams. Known to many as “Rat”, Bob worked in construction and loved cooking, NASCAR racing, and acting as a roadie for his friend’s band. He discovered bird watching as his mobility decreased. He found a special community and friends at Williamson Orchard Estates in his recent years. Bob worked diligently to get a community garden approved and flourishing there. He shared his time and talents helping his neighbors, including the 4-legged ones. A short graveside service at Calvary Cemetery in Ontario will be held on July 26, at 11 am. This will be immediately followed by a lunch reception at the adjoining parish hall at St Mary’s of the Lake/Maximilian Kobe in Ontario. Please join us to remember Bob at either or both.
