This was one of my favorite submissions I received during my years of doing this. William Thurston, Class of 1977, sent me this photo many years ago from the top of Mount Kilimanjaro. I wish it was a little bigger, but he had his Eagles pennant with him for a photo!

At 19,308 feet, it would be hard to top literally or figuratively. I never got to thank him in person, but when I came across this photo today it made me smile.
