Passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the age of 79. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Robert "Bob" and Marie Beach, and his brothers, Ron Beach and Bob Beach Jr. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 43 years, Richelle ("Gigi") Beach; his children and their spouses, Kalie (Ryan Johnson), Mollie (Greg Sabo), and Cobie (Brenna Pauly); and his three beloved grandchildren, Reese, Georgia, and McCoy Johnson, who affectionately knew him as "Opa." He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Carol Beach and Nancy Canepa, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bill grew up in Ontario, NY, attended Wayne Central Schools, and graduated from Syracuse University in 1969, where he was a proud member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, Psi Psi Chapter. In 2019, he was inducted into Sigma Chi's Order of Constantine, the fraternity's highest honor, in recognition of his faithful and lifelong service. Bill began his professional career in 1972 with Norman and Nelson Leenhouts, where he remained until his retirement in 2016 as the organization evolved from Home Leasing to Home Properties and ultimately Broadstone Real Estate. Throughout his career, he specialized in real estate management, development, and leasing, earning the respect of colleagues and contributing to the growth of one of the Rochester area's most influential real estate organizations. Service to his community was one of Bill's greatest passions. Over the years, he served on the boards of the Southeast YMCA, Pittsford Federal Credit Union, and the Town of Pittsford Parks and Recreation, generously giving his time and leadership to organizations that strengthened the community he loved. Bill's greatest legacy may be found on the soccer fields of Pittsford. In 1976, he co-founded the Pittsford Mustangs Soccer Club and served as its President through 2020. Over more than four decades, he coached countless young athletes, mentored generations of families, and played an instrumental role in growing youth soccer throughout the Pittsford community. In recognition of his unwavering dedication and extraordinary impact on youth soccer, the Town of Pittsford dedicated the athletic fields at Great Embankment Park as the Bill Beach Fields in 2022. More than any title or accomplishment, Bill will be remembered for the way he showed up for others-with kindness, humility, generosity, and an unwavering commitment to his family, friends, colleagues, and community. He leaves behind a legacy of leadership, service, and love that will continue to inspire all who knew him. Family and friends are invited to call from 4:00–7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 3325 Winton Road South, Rochester, NY 14623. Family, friends, colleagues, former players, and all whose lives were touched by Bill are invited to celebrate his life at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Monroe Golf Club, 155 Golf Avenue, Pittsford, NY 14534. In honor of Bill's joyful spirit and the way he lived his life, guests are encouraged to wear bright, cheerful colors. Interment will be held privately.
