Sad News

Since this website started in 1997, it has been difficult to balance the sharing of news and information interesting to alumni, with the sad news of the passing of a classmate or teacher/staff member. The In Memory page was created to try and honor and remember classmates. I have made exceptions from time-to-time, and this is one of those times.

I don’t think I ever met Diana Mattuzzi-Berg ’80 in person, but we were put in touch by her sister Gina, after I had blogged about some issues I was having with this website. We spoke and she happily agreed to help with a couple of technical issues. Over the years, if I got stuck with something, I could contact her and she would give me some technical assistance. She was the only other person who ever had direct website access to the files when needed. She also would be the first person to test something for me if I needed someone to create a new login or whatever. She also supported the website GoFundMe several times since 2016.

It is still a bit of a shock, but I wanted to publicly give thanks for the help and support she provided over the years to the Wayne Alumni website.
